1947 - TRAIN OF TOMORROW - GENERAL MOTORS Not to be confused with the smaller fold-out brochure General Motors did this year, this booklet measures about 10 inches by about 13 1/2 inches with 16 amazing pages inside the covers. Please note this large booklet was folded in half decades ago, and that is how it is now. I love this promotional booklet, but I cannot keep everything. General Motors is describing their future train with pages detailing and illustrating: The Astra Dome; Star Dust Chair Car; Sky View Dining Car; Dream Cloud Sleeping Car; Moon Glow Observation Car; and, ending with a view of the train. Typing this I should keep it, but time for another collection.
