This is an original press photo. \"According to the rules a perfect Palomino is the color of a newly minted gold coin,\" says J.T. Boothman, General manager of the first annual World Championship All-Palomino Horse Show which opens at Fort Worth, Tex., Sept. 17. But no one knows exactly the color of such a coin. Color is a very important factor in Palomino Horse judging. And it will be a tough task for the judges at the championship show to decide which of the Palominos more nearly resemble the hue of a newly minted gold coin. Here is a fine Palomino specimen, a stallion, owned by Mrs. F.F. Hardesty of Fort Worth. The horse is named \"My Pal Sox.\"Photo measures 7.5 x 7inches. Photo is dated 9-4-1947.
