This Antique Emerson 543 Bakelite AM radio, circa 1947, has been repaired to working condition. It needed the tubes replaced and the cord was replaced. It gets plenty of stations with a good strong signal. It does work better with an external wire antenna, so one was added to help with reception. The two wires shown in the back, One is the ground wire and the other is the antenna. It gets better reception if you have those out and extended for listening purposes. (Better reception)

However, If this is a decorative piece only for display, you can tuck the wires in the slot in back. Case is in good condition and the handle works as it should. Very simple power/volume button on right and tuning is on the left knob. It takes a couple minutes to get going once the power is turned on. Approximate dimensions are 11x6x7”. Video shows the radio in working condition. Please see pictures for condition. Signs of ware and age. Some discoloration spots on the speaker portion of the radio.
