Martha Scott, charming young stage, screen and radio actress who rose to overnight acclaim in the Pulitzer Prize hit, \"Our Town,\" returns from Hollywood to star in a specially written \"Inner Sanctum Mystery\" thriller Sunday, February 21 (Blue, 8:30 pm EWT; 7:30 pm, CWT; 6:30 pm PWT). This eerie tale, titled \"Screams in the Night\" will serve as Miss Scott\'s introduction to the Inner Sanctum Ghost Society. The simple tune of an old music box forms the key to a mystery whose solution is stored away in the mind of a condemned woman. Miss Scott will portray a young girl who is turned into a fiendish murderer by a series of blood-curdling events which start with a plastic surgery job performed by an unscrupulous doctor. Martha Scott came to prominence after playing in little theaters, summer stock companies, and a short session with Orson Welles\' \"Mercury Theater.\" Then came \"Our Town,\" fame and the expected Hollywood offers.
