Warren (Died in 1983-See bio below)-The letter is on the official letterhead of Warren\'s Lincoln National Life Foundation Museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana and has information about sending along copies of Abraham Lincoln Lore publications to Philadelphia Pennsylvania Lincoln collector & church Pastor Rev. Edmund F. Babe (Died in 1999) and features a 100% HAND-SIGNED signature in black ink-Item is in good condition with edge wear and minor damage at the top & is folded as mailed-Comes with a modern photo of Dr. Warren and 6 pages of documentation on Rev. Here\'s some info on Dr. Warren:
Louis Austin Warren, (1885-1983) a Lincoln scholar and former director of the Louis A. Warren Lincoln Library Museum in Fort Wayne, Ind., died Tuesday at his home in Fort Wayne. He was 98 years old. After being educated in Kentucky schools, Dr. Warren worked as an editor for The Larue County Herald in Hodgenville, Ky., near the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln. In 1928, he became director of the museum and during the ensuing three decades collected 8,000 books on Lincoln, as well as magazines and newspapers on the subject. He also published a weekly bulletin, Lincoln\'s Lore. He retired as museum director in 1956. Dr. Warren wrote a number of books, including \'\'Lincoln\'s Parentage and Childhood,\'\' \'\'Lincoln\'s Gettysburg Declaration\'\' and \'\'Lincoln\'s Youth: Indiana Years.\'\'
