1940s Vintage Rabone boxwood ruler 2ft 24\" No 1167, Folding Rabone ruler Tool #2:

1940s boxwood and brass folding 2 foot, 24 inches by John Rabone and Sons of Birmingham, Great Britain.

This ruler is 3.5cm wide when folded

The piano hinge joints and central hinge all move smoothly.

There are some stains on the wood as it normal for a working tool.

I have cleaned the surface of the wood and have treated it with a beeswax linseed oil mix.
