This is an Army Map Service map (AMS V842) of Slocomb (printed 1949, based on 1947 aerial photography) showing parts of Carvers Creek and Eastover Townships. The map is bisected by the Cape Fear River and has a full sized B&W aerial photograph on the reverse. nbsp; This was developed by the military as part of the effort associated with World War II and was distributed to select libraries after the war. This map is suitable for framing and guaranteed original. 22x29 1:25,000
