Own your very own fascinating piece of San Francisco pre-WWII history! This 1940 telephone directory is in Good condition, only because it has the little wrinkles and bent corners you can see on the cover.

I own probably the largest collection of vintage San Francisco telephone books in the world (seriously, it\'s taken me years!), and I am parting with some of them.

PLEASE READ!The books I am putting up for sale were all stored in a closet at a business that placed Yellow Pages ads and kept the books as examples of their ads, but they shut them up behind a door in the dark for decades and decades and never used them.

UNLESS NOTED HERE, there are no pen marks, no doodles, no writing in them at all, andthey have little to none of the typical \"old book\" odor or little of the typical brittleness usually associated with books of this age.

These books arerare, rare, rare. The Yellow Pages ads alone are worth the price.
