1939 SANTA FE VO-1000 #2203 EARLY BRASS DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE RAILROAD BUILDER PLATE Great, early diesel locomotive builder plate from a 1939 Baldwin builder, construction number 62304 off of Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway VO-1000 engine #2203. The last image shows a picture of this beauty, and the two before it are from the book, The Diesel Builders Volume III. This had the side radiators and the Batz trucks, a great example. The plate is about 9 1/16\" wide, brass construction, and as removed, never messed with, and original patina. No breaks, cracks, or repairs. A nice one for the early diesel collector or Santa Fe fan. Will ship via USPS Priority Mail, with insurance & tracking, and will be packed well for transit.
