The train will leave in a few days for Fort Worth, Texas, traveling the entire distance under its own 480 horsepower. The train is capable of a speed of 75 miles an hour, and is said to provide 50 percent more speed than the two-car steam train that it is replacing. Photo shows an interior view of the new train.
