With full Military and Ecclesiastical Honors, New York City paid final tribute to the memory of the Father Francis P. Duffy, widely known wartime Chaplain and Pastor of Holy Cross Church, who died June 26. His old Regiment, the old Sixty-Ninth, New York National Guard, was a Guard of Honor for the body as it was borne through the city while a crowd of 100,000 lined the streets. This photo shows the procession passing up Fifth Avenue toward St. Patrick\'s Cathedral, where services were held.Photo measures 7 x 9inches. Photo is dated 6-29-1932. PHOTO FRONT
