1931 Royal P Portable Typewriter Rare Duotone Green Antique P292968,Magnificant!Courtesy of the Madison Typewriter Company out of Wisconsin, I\'m rather chuffed to offer this old Model P.Most anything nice you can say about a 90 year old typewriter, I can offer up on this one.Seems to be a rare color, one in half the condition just sold for $750 on , but this one is as close to fine as I can imagine. All keys and functions work smoothly, keys straight as an arrow, period key is slightly low, but that\'s it, space bar is perfectly level, some are not. Plenum is 100%, draws paper perfectly straight. Rubber feet are perfect. keys are bright and problem free, no cracks, dulling or the like, it shifts, feeds, returns, does everything right..Crackle finish is near perfect, note a bit of rubbing, (NOT) chipping on some edges up front, and a small chip on the back, all of which I will photograph, and a shallow rub on the top of the right ribbon cover. I might have missed a bit of dust here and there, but that is it.Note, on the cover the lady did remove the two snaps, she said they just got in the way, but the snap works just fine. Handle is still there, 100%, hinges are still strong, note some rubbing, especially to corners, but no rips, and the superstructure is strong, no cracks of wobbles, Back story is a nice one. A lady originally took it new to college, then when her daughter went to college in 1960, she was gifted this guy.
