True vintage FLYING CLIPPER SHIPS brochure barely even mentions Pan American Airways, but they had an exclusive for the Flying Clipper. This dates to the mid to late 1930s and was originally folded like a map. One side features a pictorial map by Kenneth W Thompson. The back side has photos of land/ sea versions of the planes; the highlight being Sikorsky S-42. The map measures about 16.5 by 21.5 inches and is framed in a double-sided glass 22x18 wood frame. There are some condition issues that happened before framing. There are original folds, creases, a few small rips? and one quarter of the back side is quite dark from soiling or smoke or touching something for decades. A food conservator could likely help that out. This is the real deal and not a reproduction. See photos for more details.
