1930s / Pre World War Two United States Army officer\'s hat badge and unit crest for Purdue University. The hat badge is die struck in brass and gold plated - 2 inches tall and across the wingspan in size. Curved to fit the front of the visor hat correctly. Screw back with a threaded keeper. there are also two small sharp points on the reverse side to keep this cap badge straight on the hat. ********* The D.I. unit crest is die struck in brass, enameled in red, black and gold plated. Pin back with an earlier type drop in roll locking pin catch.
