1930s Fenton Glass Dove Bon Bon Bowl in Green Uranium Glass: $47.50
This is a Fenton Glass Green Transparent Oval Dove Bon Bon. Made in the 1930s, this unique bowl is Uranium Glass and therefore glows bright green under black light. There are doves on each side with wings spread and their heads acting like handles.This is a book piece. Warman\'s Fenton Glass by Mark F. Moran, dated 2004. Note that they call it a green transparent glass, not uranium glass. At the time, it was unimportant, unlike today.Fenton Glass was founded in 1905 by Frank and John Fenton in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Initially they hand painted glass made by others but in 1907, they began to manufacture their own glass.
