This vintage Royal Doulton figurine - The "Old Balloon" Seller Figurine (HN 1315) is a multicolored, porcelain piece showcasing impeccable craftsmanship. Royal Doulton first introduced this piece in 1929 and was a popular piece that was produced for nearly 70 years until they retired it in 1998. This particular piece appears to be dated from the late 1930's, probably around 1938 based on the "11" that is on the bottom. There is also a mold number "1" impressed in the lower corner of the base. This figurine is in excellent collectible condition with no cracks, no chips, no crazing, and no repairs.
