You are purchasing a rare originalRMSP ATLANTIS Cruises--Spring in the Mediterranean, The Romance of Norway1930. The large foldout style brochure and deck plan is for a variety ofcruises that took the ship from Iceland, Spitzbergen, and Leningrad to Haifa,Port Said, and Teneriffe. There is descriptive text, photos, anditineraries. The beautiful cover artfeaturing a stunningscenic view by the British poster designer, Percy Padden (1886-1965) depictinga cruise boat on a lake with silver birch trees in the foreground and greenhills on the other side of the calm reflective water, snow topped mountains onthe horizon and the text on the border below. (The Padden poster of this coversells for over $1,000). Royal Mail Lines (1932-1965) was a leading cruise shipoperator created to take over The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company (founded1839); in 1965 it was taken over by a British transport operator, Furness Withy& Company. 91-1980).Folded it measures about 7\" wide by 91/2\" tall; it opens to 38\" tall by 28\" wide. There is some expected wear on the creases including some seperation on the corners.
