She claims that while acting as one of five women in an empaneled jury with seven men, ribald songs were sung, she was made the but of parody songs, and other women on the jury spent their time in the laps of the men, smoking and swearing, instead of attending to the case. Four policemen were charged with felonious assault, and Mrs. Mosby obtained acquittal for three after a hard fight. The fourth they could not agree on. The men and women were in the jury for 18 hours, during which time she was threatened with physical violence. Photo measures 1.75 x 2.5 inches. Photo Is dated 1926. PHOTO FRONT
