The camera man was injured while performing his work, but he refused medial attention until he had delivered his films in New York, after a forty eight-hour flight from the scene of the catastrophe. Photo shows - top: Boats and debris piled up on a Miami thoroughfare. Depositing of yachts and all manner of marine craft in the streets of the city was one of the pranks of the wind. Bottom: Shipping in Miami harbor was reduced to a tangled mass of ruin. Here is shown a view of the waterfront, with wrecked vessels strewn about, and in the background the Miami News Tower, the only building for blocks which stood undamaged after the wind had passed.
