She is Miss Marie Mayer, who is unusually distinguished for having played the part of Mary Magdalene during three different decade productions of the Passion Play at Oberammergau. She was born in Oberammergau and both her parents were in the cast of the Passion Play. When she was still in arms she appeared in the Play. She says she has played the part of Mary Magdalene so many times, that she feels like a reincarnation. (New York)Photo measures 8 x 10inches. Photo is dated 10-17-1923.
