Miss Anna Elizabeth Niebel, of the follies, formerly lived in Washington, D.C. and was one of the winners in a beauty contest conducted by a newspaper upon whom Representative Herrick of Oklahoma called at the time he introduced a bill to make beauty contests illegal. Now, according to reports, Miss Niebel will sue the Oklahoman for $50,000.00, alleging breach of promise and from the fastnesses of his home in Perry, Oklahoma. Mr. Herrick avers that the suit, if it is filed, will be just another one of his political enemies trying to drive him out of public life.Photo measures 6.25 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 11-25-1921.
