Pair of rare antique panoramic yard-long photographs: NAVAL TRAINING CENTER, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, and CAMP INGRAM; no date but circa the 1920’s. The full photos show the color properly (I don't know why the scans turned out so yellow). The first shows the many adobe-style buildings of the center, a covered parking area showing some Model T style cars, the campus grounds and gardens, and a good view across the bay showing the lack of development and the large empty expanse that would later become the airport. On the right you can see the tented area, which is the subject of the second photo. The center is now the site of Liberty Station, a mixed-use community being redeveloped and repurposed by the City of San Diego. The first measures 8x37 inches, the second is 8x34 inches.

Condition is VG-/G+: the first has two 1-inch edge tears and 4 ¼-inch edge tears, some dust smudges and light scuffs, corner wear, small area of edge denting, a few light wrinkles. The second has similar to that but heavier, with a 2-inch edge chip.
