The view, entitled Car Barn, Charlton City, Mass., 25., shows a long andlow brick building with seven open bays in the center. The nose of a streetcaris visible in one of the garages, and railroad tracks run across theforeground. Charlton is located in Worcester County. The postcard is in goodcondition with light wear and soiling. There’s a bit of silverfish damage atthe left edge on the back. The photograph exhibits good to very good tonalrange and shows good to very good detail. A nice early Charlton MA image and aninteresting bit of trolley history!
