A limousine three seater aeroplane was used in carrying a newly-married couple from the church where the knot was tied to the site of their honeymoon. The bride and groom, Miss Standen and Mr. Hamilton avoided the usual conspicuousness which attends a church wedding when the couple depart by train, by using this twentieth century conveyance. They were not lucky enough however to escape the traditional old shoes which were tied to the rear of the plane. Our photo shows the bride and groom in the machine at the church ready to be whirled away.Photo measures 9.5 x 7.75inches. Photo is dated 07-17-1919. PHOTO FRONT
