Here is the September of 1918 edition of an ORIGINAL Confederate Veteran\'s publication. The front covers shows you the EXCELLENT condition of this 106 year old historical item. This \"War Between The States\" publication has tremendous memories/history within this edition. Pages are # 378 - # 424.
I will post many photos for your consideration. Photo # 6 gives the combination of the \"Leading Articles\" in this edition. Photos # 16 - # 19 reveals who this Confederate publication was sent to !!!
My favorite section is \"THE LAST ROLL\" (starting with photo #11), whereas many Confederate Soldiers are mentioned and honored here:
1). Gen. William McComb - from Penn. - formally enlisted with the 14th TN 2). Capt. Carroll Armstrong - from Morrilton, Ark - died July 11th, 1918 3). Capt. Frank T. Lee - died July 12th, 1918 - born Dec. 2, 1845 in Virginia 4).Capt. George W. Doerner - born in Brooklyn, AL - 5th Miss Cavalry 5). Joshua Simmons - of Colfax, LA - served with the 12th LA (Scott\'s Brig)
