Offered for sale from 1916 is this pretty picture birthday postcard mailed from Steamboat Rock, Iowa to a woman in Larrabee, North Dakota. It shows a beautiful young woman with a flowered hat and a basket in of flowers. \"Birthday Greetings is written in script. The Larrabee post office was short lived, located in Foster County, North Dakota and having closed in 1910. So the address still worked, but the woman in was addressed to must have received her mail from a different post office. This would make a nice item for a collection of vintage birthday postcards.
