The Chicago, Saint Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railroad (CMO) was formed in 1880 and served the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin and was called the \"Omaha Road\", The Chicago & North Western Railroad (C&NW) gained control in 1882, but the CMO operated independently until 1957, when it was leased to the C&NW. The C&NW merged the CMO into its system in 1972, The Union Pacific Railroad (UP) acquired the C&NW in 1972, and remaining CMO trackage is primarily operated by the UP. For sale is an employee pass from the CMO for the year 1916. For sale is an employee pass from the CMO for the year 1916. It was issued to an officer of the Big 4 Railroad (Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago & St Louis). The pass measures appx 4 x 2 1/2 inches and is printed on mid-weight cardstock. It is in very good condition, with no rips or tears. All writing/markings are from its issuance and use. Images sell!
