1915 Saxon China 18 kt gold trimmed 4 Dessert Bowls Ivory/Cream Color Antique 100 yrs old

Circa 1915 "Saxon China" Beautiful SET of 3 Dessert Bowls in a soft Ivory/Cream color with 18 kt gold Leaf like Pattern 6098g featuring a leaf band of gold trim.

A little fading on the edges of the gold trim.

The pattern is just beautiful!  It does have some major crazing, which I think is beautiful and adds to the uniqueness!  There are stains. I understand it can be soaked in OxiClean to minimize the staining.

It was in my 90 year old Aunt's home that I am cleaning out.  The pattern is not round it is like scalloped edges, so UNIQUE!

I came to the dating because after 1916 it was marked with "French Saxon".

This RARE listing is for the following:

3 Dessert Bowls - 5.25" x 1."

The bowls are not marked (which is normal for that timeframe).  I am sure they are part of the same pattern, they came with the whole set and I am just selling it in pieces.

The following information was copied from Sebring Historical Society:

Formerly called Saxon China.  Saxon was founded in 1911.  Made semi-porcelian china.  In 1916 became part of their individual names. The Sebring Manufacturing Corp. joined the American Chinaware Corp. in 1929 to try to avert the depression.  The American Chinaware Corp failed in 1931 and both French China and Saxon China were gone by 1932.  The Saxon plant was purchased from Oliver H. Sebring in 1934 by W. Vern Oliver for $1,000.  He then combined the failed French and Saxon China Companies and renamed it the French Saxon pottery Company.  The buildings were greatly updated.  By 1949 it employed 380 people to make dinnerware.  He was purchased by Royal China and Bea Miller on April 4, 1964.  Later made semi-vitreous ironstone dinnerware.  Started production of china with 16 employees.  At its peak, it could produce 600 dozen pieces of ware per hour.
