William Austen's 1915 Runabout, taken at Bodie, California, on July 19, 1989. Bodie is a ghost town off Highway 395 between Bishop, California and Reno, Nevada. Bill also supplied the picture on the July-August 1989 issue, about which the editor gave the wrong information, which in turn resulted the lengthy correction the the September-October issue. The information of this cover comes from Bill's own hand.
