1909 BESSIE CLAYTON Actress Tobacco Card T27 GOLD Border FATIMA CIGARETTES:

This Tobacco card (also referred to as a Cigarette Card) was issued by the American Tobacco Company as an insertpremium in their brands of RichmondStraight Cut Cigarettes,. This card is one from a fairly scarce series cards entitled, “Actress Series ” and is designated as T27 Burdick’s American CardCatalogue. This series had 3 sub serieswithin it. This is the GOLD BORDERseries which consisted of 20 cards with this border, and features the Actress BESSIECLAYTON . The back features advertisingfor Richmond Straight cut cigarettes and lists the factory No. 25 2ndDistrict Virginia. The Card measures 1 11/16 inchesby 2 5/8 inchesapproximately. The card does have some lines of discoloration on the back, andsome edge and corner wear , and some creasing. I have scanned the card fairly large for youto be able to judge condition for yourself. Don’t miss out on this over 110 year oldcard. As it is over 100 years old it isan official American Antique.
