From their beginnings in the later half of the nineteenth century, Curtice Brothers Company was an early producer of ketchup and other preserved vegetable products. This bottle has been dated to between 1904 and 1911 by using the style of bottle, mouth blown into a mold with a continuous screw top and a glass manufacturer\'s logo on the base. The logo BBGCo belonged to Berney-Bond Glass Co. and was used on Curtice Brothers ketchup bottles during those years.EMBOSSED: CURTICE BROTHERS CO * ROCHESTER, N. Y. * (around) PRESERVERS (center) a ribbed design around the body of the bottle with an area where a label was affixed. BASE MARKED: BBGCo and the number 478. The bottle is 8 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the base and holds 8 fluid ounces.
