Here\'s an all-original top-wind \"Trademark\" Gramophone sold in London by Emile Berliner\'s Gramophone & Typewriter Ltd. Included with it is an early Berliner recording of George Gaskin performing The Best In The House Is None Too Good For Reilly.

Condition of the phonograph is excellent, and it\'s in good working order, with undamaged gears, clean original turntable felt, a smooth original cabinet finish, a crisp original cabinet decal, and a turntable that runs level.

All parts are original, and all parts are correct. The horn\'s bell is still securely soldered to the barrel, and the horn itself is straight, with just scattered minor dings consistent with age and authenticity. The horn elbow retains its original tensioning hardware, and the elbow itself is in good shape, with undamaged leather. The crank is reasonably clean, with no damage to the slot. The original record hold down retains most of its nickel plating and all of its original felt. The G&T Concert Sound Box is guaranteed to be 100% original, and it\'s the correct reproducer for the phonograph.

The machine runs well given its age and its design, and it will play through an entire 7\" record when fully wound, which is more than you can say for most early Berliner machines. The Berliner recorded that\'s included with it has typical surface noise, but it plays reasonably well otherwise and displays nicely with the machine.
