This beautifullylithographed Tobacco Card (also referred to as a Cigarette Card) was put out during the late 1891 by the P.H.& Mayo Brothers Tobacco Company as a premium in their Mayo’s Cut PlugTobacco and Cigarettes. It is one from aVERY RARE series of 25 cards entitled , “National Flowers” and is listed in Burdick’s American Card Catalogue as series N306. The front shows a stunning cameo of abeautiful woman, along with a flower and a small scene depicting the countrybeing represented The back is blank, as they were issued. This cardfeatures the country of TURKEY. The card does have some various creasing andwear. I have scannedthe card fairly large for you to be able to judge condition. The card measures. 1 15/16 inches by 3 inches approximately. Don\'tmiss out on this over 125 year old piece.Being over 100 years old it qualifies as an official American antique.
