1889 VINTAGE DANCE National DANCES Tobacco CARD N225 Kinney Bros Cigarettes:

This fantasticcard was issued by the KINNEY BROS. Tobacco Co. as an insert premium in their brands ofTobacco and Cigarettes during 1889.These cards are from a fairly scarce series of 50 cards entitled, “NATIONAL DANCES ” This series is designatedas N225 in Burdick’s American CardCatalogue. The front of the cardfeatures an image of a person dressedin a tradition garb and in the step of a traditional dance of the country theyare representing. The background is donewith a unique metallic copper color ink that makes the dancer really standout. The back features a list of the 50dances in the series. The series has two variants, one with a white border around the front of the card and one that is borderless This card features the VINTAGE DANCE, and is a white bordered variation . The Card measures 2 ¾ inches by 1 ½inches approximately. The carddoes have some corner and edge wear, but is free from creases. I think it displays nicely I have scanned thecard fairly large for you to be able to judge condition for yourself.
