1880s Collection Of 14 Antique Farming Lithographs & 9 Trade Cards. Pickup preferred in Waukesha, WI. I can also drop these off at UPS if you would like to arrange shipping through them. I will not be responsible for any shipping damages. Questions are welcome, selling a beautiful collection with many extremely rare pieces. maybe a few trickle into the early 1900s, but for the most part these are 1880-1890.
These are all guaranteed authentic and antique as described.
The McCormick framed lithograph print
Description: wood frame, 30 3/4\" x 21\", printed by The J. Ottmann Lith. Co. Puck Bldg. N.Y., mfg. by McCormick Division Intenational Harvester Company of America, scene of binder w/2-horse team on top of the world; Good overall color w/some staining and creases. Description: older wood frame, 22”x34”(print 15x24), printed by The Hatch Lith. Co. New York, , depicts 1-horse or 2-horse options for rake, \"For Sale by Mark M. Hadley Hillsborough Bridge, N.H.; Has light fading, staining, tears, and loss to paper at bottom. Very Old: does not have a year, is frail, likely 1880s in my opinion.
The New St. Paul framed lithograph print
Description: period wood frame, 19\" x 23\" (print 14x18.5), printed by Shober & Carqueville Litho. Co. Chicago, depicts company meeting introducing St. Paul binder; Overall good color w/folds, few creases, and few tears. Is framed in glass so both sides can show as trade cards are on the back as well as other cool info about the St. Paul, also the “1885” machine is mentioned numerous times on the back of the litho, I believe dating this to 1886. Shows Uncle Sam introducing the new model to the crowd.
In 1876 Kurtz left the firm that issued \"The International Exposition 1876 at Philadelphia, PA. U.S.A. View from George\'s Hill\" (1876) and Shober & Carqueville was established. The partners printed sheet music, posters, maps, and trade cards. Shober left the company in the early 1880s, possibly after a fire at the firm according to Groce & Wallace. He later became president of the Chicago Bank Note Harvester framed lithograph print (26”x31” frame, 18x23 print)

Description: metal top edge w/hanger loop, Framed-23”x45” (print 12x29), Press of Geo. Harris & Sons Philada, Pa., \"First Prize Gold Medal Over All Competitors\" for new Single-Apron Binder; Good overall color w/few creases and some 1913 JEROME B RICE SEED COMPANY FRAMED ADVERTISMENT.
Early heavy paper litho with metal band and hanger present along top. Band is separating from paper with a 6\" to 8\" tear along top, non distracting to the bright, colorful image of girl in rose garden. Marked \"Among the Hollyhocks\" in bottom left corner, marked in bottom right \"G. B. Company, Joliet, Illinois\". The calendar pad is marked February 1913. There is edge wear consistent with age, all issues non-distracting to the image.
