This Engraving bears a seal of the Library of Congress from 1866.17.5\" FrameActual Art. 10\"The historical backstory is that Tiberius Caesar Commissioned an artist to do a portrait of Jesus Christ on an Emerald.
From the Library of Congress:Our Saviour from the only authentic likeness of our Saviour cut on an emerald by command of Tiberius Caesar. Engraved by John Sartain, Phila.
It was completely intact framed and seal with tar at the back. I removed it from the frame as I could not find any info on it, that was years ago, now after all those years I just recently learned the back story to this piece of art.
