1845 Minton Staffordshire Parian Drabware 9\" Pitcher, Cherubs:

1845 MINTON PARIAN DRABWARE PITCHER 1845 Minton Staffordshire Parian Pitcher. It features 7 high relief Cherubs, on English Ivy, with a ribbed background... Bisque on the outside and glazed on the inside. The markings on the bottom is unreadable. After doing research, I have confirmed, it was made by Minton in the year 1845... It measures approximately 9 inches high, 10 1/4 at the spout, and 7 1/4\" wide, from the tip of the spout to the handle. Parian Ware is a marble-like unglazed porcelain body developed during the 1840\'s and used most successfully for sculptural pieces. CONDITION: Has a soft thin 1/4\" chip on the lip that looks like a black rub( see pic) , and one light stain on the bottom ( see pix ) I don\'t see any real chips, cracks or repairs. GREAT CONDITION FOR 175 YEARS OLD. General cleaning to be confirmation or signature confirmation ...WILL BE DOUBLE BOXED. All items will be insured. All international itemswill be insured.
