Here is an ORIGINAL 28 page pamphlet entitled, "Speech of Mr. Barton, of Missouri, Upon the Power of the President to Remove Federal Officers". This document was printed in 1830 at the Office of the National Journal in Washington, D.C.
For being 194 years old, this historical item / document is still in EXCELLENT condition. With my research I see that U. S Senator was born in Greenville, TN on December 14th, 1783 and died on September 28th, 1837 (age 53) in Boonville, Cooper Co., Missouri. Before being buried in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Missouri his military service was with the Barton Mounted Rangers in 1812 (see more information in photo #10).
