This is an antique proof of will document printed and handwritten on Vellum dated 25th July 1818.
It is proof of the will of the late John Smith of Cowling, farmer in the parish of Kildwick in County Yorkshire that was admitted before Reverend William Carr. Signed by a Joseph Buckle.
John, Daniel and Edmund his sons are joint executors.
Easy to read this document so you may well find it very interesting if you happen to know the area.Please see pictures provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition.It measures approx. 10 inches x 5 and 1/2 inches.

Great social history original vellum document if you happen to be related or live in the location of the item. Local historians, researchers or archive collectors want them as they do not tend to be copied.So unique in that sense too. I have not had time to research these documents so you may well find them to be very interesting yourselves especially if you know the area. They often have more named people, their occupations and where they live within the wording too.
