I am offering for sale an 1813-1814 campaign medal issued by Prussia to commemorate the victory at Waterloo.They were made from captured French bronze cannons. The reverse of the medal states Preussens Tapfern Kriegern, which means Prussia's Brave Warriors. The outer edge of the reverse states Gott War Mit Uns, Ihm Sey Die Ehre, which means God Was With Us To Him the Glory. The rim states Aus Erobertem Geschuetz, which means protected from conquest. It measures 1 3/16" in diameter.
