1806 French American Relations Letter from Andre Dupin Lawyer and President of the French Chamber of Duties and the French Legislative Assembly to American diplomat Fulwar Skipworth

Item Description

Great old 1806 document from Andre Dupin of France to a Fulwar Skipworth, a US Consul to Martinique. Would make a great gift for a special occasion or keep for yourself!

Something written in old ink on the one side of document that Supin has been employed as the principal agent to administer relief to distressed American Seamen. Can't read the French part, so you decide that this is what the content of the letter is before acquiring.

This Historical Paper Ephemera piece is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a high end sale house or gallery, as we have been selling out of our home for over 35 years. We can therefore better control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and finally, we don't have the overhead that the higher end houses and galleries experience.

The document is not in a frame. Comes in an older clear plastic protective cover. The document wording is still quite legible. Some weathering on the left and white sides probably from folding at one time. Marks from previous folding show in document.

Information from the internet on the two parties involved is captured on printed pieces with the document.

The 1806 Andre Dupin Document is 9" tall, by 14" across when opened up and 7-3/8" across, when folded. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
