1800\'s Victorian Trade CardDr. Hall\'s Balsam - Quack Medicinefeaturing image of aYORKIE Yorkshire Terrier in a sick bed.There is MORE TO THIS STORY!The card is titled \'SHAMMING SICKNESS\', which was used in the day to refer to someone who was faking an illness.Sailors would often be accused of Shamming Sickness to avoid work.In the 1800\'s, Yorkshire Terriers were often worked as RAT HUNTERS, and as seen in the bottom image on the card, it is titled \'RATS\' - and the look on the little Yorkie\'s face shows he has about had enough of the job. LOL Regardless, apparently if you give someone Hall\'s Balsam....well, their excuses go away, as it cures \'everything\'! ;)
