1789 George Washington Inaugural Button Long Live The President “Highly Rare”

This is the real deal. Comes with show casing as pictured.

Found In Greenville PA years ago. I was taking this rare George Washington button out of my showcase to take photos and the shank broke off, as shown in my photos.

This button is I believe is made of brass and a magnet will not attract to this button. Under the dirt, the edges do look like brass.

These are the best photos I can take. In hand, this is truly an amazing find for any showcase.

I have seen these buttons in several different designs selling for $10K plus. The most commonly found GW button I have noticed, is the brass Eagle button. This GW button seems to be more rare to find.
