Being offered are 16 vintage, original, cabinet card, tintype, snapshotphoto photograph images. 1) is of EdwardButch O'Hare, who was a famous WW II fighter pilot. The Chicago International Airport, O'HareField, was named after this aviator. Thephoto has writing in pen identifying the person, and the photo is in nice shapefor its age, looks clean aside from writing, all intact, no rips, tears, orcreases. Approx. 4 1/2" by 23/4". 2) is an antique photophotograph cabinet card. The image showsa B & O, Baltimore & Ohio Railroad brakeman, as written in pencil onthe bottom, and looks like the hat badge states Brakeman. The cardboard matting shows age and wearing,some edge bruises and soiling in places.The image looks in good condition, clean with no rips or tears. Approx. 6 1/2" by 4 1/4". 3 & 4) are 2 antique tintype photophotographs. One image, in an embossedpaper frame has writing stating Mrs. Carrie E Crew, Viola, Linn County,Iowa. The paper frame shows age and wearing,and the top has a tear across the edge.The tintype looks in good shape and approx. 1 1/8" by 1 3/8". The other image is of a woman but looks alittle different, has a crease and some surface wearing, and is approx. 19/16" by 15/16". 5) is anantique tintype photo photograph. Theimage is of a woman, and the back has faint writing, Mrs Mitchell, wife of CaptLove. The last name is faint so hard totell if actually Capt Love. This camefrom an Iowa estate and there was a Captain James Love who was a captain in thearmy and a state senator, but can not verify this is the man. The paper frame shows age, wearing, andsoiling stains. The image shows somesurface pitting or wearing but still shows detail. It is hard to determine the image sizeencased in the paper frame but looks to be approx. 1 3/4" by 2 1/4". 6) is a vintage, antique, photo photographstereoview card. The image is by WEHooke, and shows the Manitou Grand Caverns The Grand Organ, which is at theCave of the Winds in Manitou Springs Colorado.The image has a description written on the back. The image does show age and wear. There are stains and soiling, scratches, edgedings and bruises in places. On theright side edge portion that is a frame edge it looks like the surface has comeoff but has not affected the actual image.The card is approx. 6 7/8" by 4 1/2". 7) is a vintage photo photograph image ofMonte Hale. It is autographed by him inblue ink. The image shows him with aguitar and his horse. Info I could findwas that he was a cowboy in movies and comics.The image shows typical wearing for its age and is intact, clean, norips, tears, or creases. The image isapprox. 5" by 7". 8) is anantique cabinet card photo photograph.The image shows 2 nurses caring for a patient in their bed. The room is sparse so not sure if this was insomeone's home or some type of hospital.The back is signed dating this to 1904, shows a persons name, not sureof patient or nurse, and Chadron which is a city in Nebraska. The card does show age and wearing. the matte board shows stains and soiling,edge nips, dings, and bruises. The imagehas nips to the edges but is all intact.The card is approx. 6 7/8" by 6". 9) isa CDV, Carte De Viste, antique photo photograph. The image is of a Victorian era woman withperiod fashion dress. The cdv was takenat a studio photographer, S. Van Grieken, located in Keokuk, Iowa. The image shows typical wearing for its age,with tiny edge bruises, but otherwise the image looks in good shape. The CDV is approx. 4 1/8" by 2 1/2". 10) is an antique cabinet card photophotograph image. The image is of aMotorman which usually was a driver of a trolley car, streetcar, or electrifiedrail vehicle. The hat has a badgestating Motorman 477. The cabinet carddoes have the studio that took the picture, Anderson Art Studio Kansas CityMissouri below which I assume he was a Motorman in Kansas City, Missouri. The image does have the persons name inpencil on the back, W. J. Van Dyke. Ibelieve the image is from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The image does show age and wearing with edgebruises and dings. The actual image hassome soiling and stains in places, and looks like age related spotting ordiscoloration. The entire image isapprox. 8" by 6", and the photo is approx. 3 7/8" by 59/16". 11) is a vintage CDVcard. Looks to be an Amish woman basedon her handkerchief looking hat. Thephotographer is famous for stereoview cards known as W F Kilborn, and thisstudio was located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.The card shows age and wearing and there is some kind of sticker residueon the bottom left corner. The card is approx.2 7/16” by 4 1/8”, 12) ia an image of ahorse and carriage with a man and child, back has writing, States his name andthat he was helping out the postman delivering mail, the image looks faded,shows age a wear, soiling and stains.The image is approx. 6 7/8” by 5 7/8”, and looks cropped. 13) isa school photo in front of the school. Backstates county school, I believe this came from Ohio, the image is in roughshape, approx. 9 ½” by 5 7/8”, 14) is a cabinet card of a baby, back has nameRussel Nichols, card shows age and wearing, stains and soiling but intact, approx.4 ¼” by 6 ½”, 15) is an image of a young boy standing on a chair from Missouri,card shows age, wearing, stains, and soiling, approx. 4 ¼” by 6 ½”, and 16) ahome made cabinet card of people in the woods with horses and carriages. The image is in rough shape with stains,soiling, rips, and tears, has names written on the back, approx. 6 ¼” by 5 ¼”.
