12 Belemnite fossils of varying size, roughly 100-120 Million Year Old, Cretaceous Squid Fossils as pictured in flat! A very rare find in Madagascar!

Belemnite are a now extinct squid-like cephalopod. These bullet-shaped fossils are the squid\'s guard, which is designed to propel the fish quickly through the water. They are composed of Aragonite & Calcite! Some specimens have show nice ring patterns on the base.

Locality: Mainterano, Madagascar

Weight: 80 grams

Size: 28 to 45mm

We will package each Crystal with newspaper and/or bubble wrap. No annoying styrofoam peanuts.
