Offered here is a 10.5\" ceramic statue depicting MARY, THE BLESSED VIRGIN, praying. This serene statue has purposely soft lines to give the image a calmer, almost beatific appearance. It is in very good condition. At one time the bottom was likely covered with a felt-like material to protect any wooden surface it might be placed on. Because I found and purchased this from an estate, I don\'t know anything about its provenance--where, when, and by whom it as made. NOTE: The photos with this listing show the statue with alternating dark and bright backgrounds so that you can see how it might look in various settings.This was part of my collection of religious art, but now that I\'ve reached my 80th year, it\'s time to let go of things so that others can enjoy and appreciate them. This statue of MARY is being offered on with these guidelines:
