10 1/2" Huge Full Groove Style Authentic Axe MUSEUM QUALITY: $1225.00
This is a very, very large full groove axe made out of a tannish quartzite stone. Very beautiful. Axes of this size and condition are rare. Only one small ding on ridge end. As you can tell from the pictures, it belongs in a museum. Rounded poll, very raised groove ridges, perfect bit. Formerly in the collection of Bill Platter.These over-sized axes in fine condition were most likely burial gifts.10 1/2" long, 7" wide at ridges, 3+" thick 7 pounds 7 ounces Pictures demonstrate authenticity. Still a 14 day right of inspection.
