(as-is, display only) Vtg Devil Satan Salt & Pepper Shakers Chalkware Plaster:

Estate find. Measure approximately 2-5/8” tall. Unmarked. They are made of a plaster type material (chalkware). Each comes with a cork that I am going to leave loose. Old corks are quite vulnerable to damage. Pushing them in the hole, pulling them out, any given attempt could damage the cork.

I am listing the shakers as found in as-is condition. They are for display only. It’s not practical to use them as salt and pepper shakers, though I am sure some have tried.

One horn is chipped off (ugly chip, distracting). This devil’s other horn has a 2mm flake to the black. This shaker wobbles on the table. He wobbles because the bottom edge has a rough spot of excess. This rough area also has a chip that has been painted over, so likely maker related.

Both shakers have paint flakes to the lower yellow on front. The tip of each tail also has surface damage (chips, flakes). The shakers are VERY crude. Color and detail irregularities. The wobbling shaker has a particularly nasty amount of irritation.

The shaker with two good horns has a 1/4\" surface flake on the back of his head (white showing), and there’s a smaller flake beneath it on his neck.
