WWII SPANISH MODEL Z, M40 COMBAT HELMET, WITH LINER, GERMAN STYLE:

This listing is for an original and authentic WWIl Spanish model Z, M40 helmet with excellent condition liner. This helmet was the principal used by the Spanish Army upon its victory during the Spanish Civil War.
The helmet is a militaria item and resembles a German helmet for reasons having to do with Spain’s close military interconnection with the German government during the SCW and throughout WWII, including during the Spanish intervention in the Eastern Front with its hard-charging Spanish Blue Division.
This helmet is considered an original period item. The helmet had some minor scratches, chips and areas of flaking (please see pics for details, as they are part of description). No cracks. Liner is in pretty good condition with the leather still in soft condition.
