This fabulous NCAA college University of NebraskaCornhuskers collegiate pennant. Large size with a colorful cornhusker farmer-footballplayer holding a football. Circa 1960's team logo. When possible or necessary,pennants are shipped flat, otherwise all are carefully protected, looselyrolled-up, and shipped in a box. ⭐APPROXIMATE SIZE: Length = 30.5 in (77.47 cm), width = 11.5in (29.21 cm).
⭐CONDITION: Excellent, screen-printed graphic andlettering all crisp sharp and bright, tassel tails complete, has small holenear front bottom edge (seen in pics), no signs of abuse. Review images forcondition accuracy and verification.
⭐ADDITIONAL INFO: Many pennants from 1930s and later weremanufactured by the ‘Keezer’ company, Plaistow NH, this may or may not be one.I have over 120 vintage pennants I am in the process of listing.
⭐WHERE I GOT IT: Maine sale house (years ago).
⭐ERA OF ORIGIN: 1930s-1960s.
⭐SUMMARY: Older felt pennants like this arebecoming hard to find. Authentic felt pennants are machine handsewn usingmultiple components. Modern pennants originating around the 1980s started to bemade in one piece from thin synthetic felt-like material- no components orstitching.
